During this National Transfer Student Week, BW reaffirms the University's "exceptional commitment" to transfer students.
Once again in 2025, Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society (PTK) has named Baldwin Wallace University to its Transfer Honor Roll, one of 251 colleges and universities from across the nation to earn the recognition.
The list honors "excellence and success in transfer pathway development" and recognizes "the dynamic pathways [these universities] have created to support transfer students."
Translation? The transition from community college to BW maximizes transfer credits and financial aid, while providing resources that set students on a smooth path to earning a bachelor's degree.
"I'm proud of the transfer outcomes we're seeing at these Honor Roll colleges," said Dr. Lynn Tincher-Ladner, President and CEO of Phi Theta Kappa. "These colleges are doing more than just opening doors — they're walking students through them. Their commitment to creating clear, supportive pathways demonstrates what's possible when student success is truly the priority."
All regionally accredited four-year degree-granting institutions that admit transfer students annually are eligible to be evaluated for a PKT "Transfer Friendliness Rating" based on 40 key metrics, including college cost and financial aid, campus life for transfers, admission practices and bachelor's degree completion.
The honor roll is chosen from among the top 25% highest-rated colleges.
During this National Transfer Student Week, BW salutes the many transfer students who find success completing their college degrees at BW, including:
Baldwin Wallace continues to ensure a seamless transfer process for students from regionally accredited two-year and four-year colleges and universities (with no application fee), completion scholarships for associate degree graduates and unofficial transfer credit evaluations for all prospective students.
