Student Services

BW offers a range of specialized services aimed at meeting the varied needs of our community. You'll find friendly faces and personalized support in each of the following offices:

Commuter Services

The Office of Commuter Services (OCS) provides services and programs for BW students who walk, bike, drive or take the bus to campus, including a Commuter Lounge and events throughout the year for the commuter community.

International Student Services

International Student Services (ISS) offers immigration advice as well as cultural, social and academic support in a welcoming and friendly environment.

Office of LGBT Services

LGBT Student Services provides programming, resources, support and networking opportunities for gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and questioning students, as well as for straight supporters.

Military and Veterans Services

Annually recognized by GI Jobs magazine as a Military Friendly School, BW offers a supportive learning community and the resources needed to assist service members transitioning from the military to higher education.

Multicultural Student Services

A resource and advocate of diverse students, the Office of Multicultural Student Services (MSS) offers educational and social programming aimed at the personal development and success of its students.

Student-Athlete Services

The BW Student-Athlete Services office serves all student-athletes by supporting their personal, educational and athletic goals through advising, mentoring, relevant programming and Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) activities.


BW CARES Act Emergency Fund Application

Applications are being accepted for a second and final round of funds from the BW CARES Act Emergency Fund. The deadline for applications this round is October 20, 2020. To qualify, students must have been enrolled at BW during both the spring 2020 and fall 2020 semesters and not have already received funds from the first distribution of BW CARES Act Emergency Fund dollars this past summer. Additional eligibility requirements are outlined below.
