Center
BW's
learning
center provides
innovative,
diverse
support
programs,
services
and
resources
that
promote
academic
excellence.
One-on-one
academic
coaching
is
available
for
students
to
examine
learning
styles,
discuss
approaches
to
the
learning
process,
or
identify
barriers
that
hinder
success.
Common
topics
discussed
include
creating
study
plans,
note-taking,
reading
strategies
and
more.
Additionally,
the
learning
center
provides
free,
weekly
success
seminars
to
provide
you
with
the
opportunity
to
develop
or
refine
current
skills
necessary
for
academic
and
personal
success
at
BW.

The
writing
center
helps
students
with
all
aspects
and
types
of
writing.
Writing
specialists
and
coaches
also
offer
tips

techniques
to
enhance
students'
writing

writing
skills.

assistance

writing
center
provides
include
developing
and
organizing
ideas;
providing
guidance
regarding
documentation,
style,
grammar,
and
mechanics;
and
strategies
to
improve
proofreading
skills.
Reading
Center
The
reading
center
can
help
students
navigate
the
reading
demands
of
any
course
with
individual
reading
support
services.
Reading
specialists
can
assist
you
with
making
a
plan
to
manage
large
amounts
of
required
reading,
learning
to
use
the
features
of
texts
to
enhance
comprehension
and
more.
