mbrown@bw.edu - ROTC
-
The Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) is a college program that exchanges a paid college education and a guaranteed post-college career, for a commitment to serve in the military after graduation.
BW’s commitment is to provide a scholarship to assist with room and meal costs for semesters in which the full-time student is an active participant in the ROTC training program. Annual amounts grow from $2,500 (in their first year) to $10,000 by their senior year (with half the annual amount being applied in the fall/spring). If the student receives a ROTC scholarship from the school in which the student is participating in ROTC, then any BW merit awards that may have been awarded, would now become "honorary" awards, in name only.
