BW Ovation showcases student success

What started 12 years ago as a one-day event uniting the campus community in celebrating student achievement has morphed into a multi-day extravaganza.

This year's Ovation Festival was a 14-event series vibrant with activity. The festival, which ran April 11-30, showcased the richness and diversity of student success in research, scholarship, experiential learning and the arts. Among events were a student art exhibit, Conservatory of Music and theatre performances, Summer Scholars presentations, Jacket Philanthropy Program grant awards ceremony and more.

On April 25, BW held its Day of Excellence, which featured displays, oral and poster presentations, performances and a soapbox at Lyceum Square. Among fun activities was a cornhole challenge pitting BW President Bob Helmer and Provost Steve Stahl against National College Cornhole Championship runners-up Anthony Kissel '21 and Timmy Jonas '19.

The culminating program was a campus-wide Honors Award Ceremony that recognized students with scholarships and awards.
