Alumni Spirit

Thank you for taking an interest in supporting Baldwin Wallace University with your time, talent and passion. Explore the following ways you can stay involved with BW.

Volunteer with an Alumni Organization
Many alumni are active volunteers in a variety of organizations on campus and beyond. Most organizations meet regularly throughout the year. Each offers a set of unique volunteer opportunities including event planning, fundraising, collaborations with students and faculty, and more! Some examples of volunteer organization involvement include helping to plan the Masters Master's Golf Outing, awarding Women's Club scholarships to deserving students, soliciting prizes for the Lettermen's Reverse Raffle, providing mock interview support by phone to arts management students and providing social media marketing support for MBA Association events. Refer a Student
Refer a high school-age student from your circle of family, friends and co-workers. Once connected with the Office of Admission, prospective students and their families will be kept informed of special opportunities to get to know the BW community. Alumni sometimes volunteer at admission events on campus, such as junior visit days, or by working college fairs in communities outside of Berea.

Serve as a Golden Reunion Ambassador
Each year, BW's 50th reunion celebration is driven by the efforts and enthusiasm of Golden Reunion Ambassadors, alumni volunteers who assist in promoting their celebration to classmates. Reunion Ambassadors are guided by the Center for Philanthropy & Alumni Engagement and provided with directory information and other resources to contact classmates in the six months leading up to the reunion. For more information, contact the Center for Philanthropy & Alumni Engagement at (440) 826-2104 or email

Become a College Now Mentor
In partnership with College Now Greater Cleveland, BW alumni may become an important influence in a student's life as he/she acclimates to college and continues on a path to academic and career success. Orientation sessions for this initiative, which pair alumni with students receiving scholarship funds from College Now Greater Cleveland, are typically held in the fall. For more information, contact the Center for Philanthropy & Alumni Engagement at (440) 826-2104 or

Become a Career Mentor
Led by the Office of Career Services, the BW Career Network includes alumni nationwide who represent a wide variety of professions and interests. Primarily conducted online, regardless of distance, mentors assist BW students as they prepare for a career after graduation. Alumni are also key in providing internships at their companies and organizations. Contact the career services office at (440) 826-2101 or
