CAREER MANAGEMENT

Baldwin Wallace University students learn how to manage their careers beginning their first year and for a lifetime. Career management is an ongoing and active process that involves these aspects:

  • Exploring and Clarifying
  • Connecting and Telling Your Story
  • Gaining Experience and Building Skills
  • Being a Polished Professional

FRESHMAN YEAR THROUGH GRADUATION

The BW Career Center can help you prepare for career success. Through personalized attention, workshops and more, we can assist you with career exploration, interview and networking techniques, internships and job opportunities.

Handshake

image of Handshake logoBW Handshake is a web-based platform with 24/7 access to job and internship opportunities, career related events, and relevant resources based on a student's career goals. Handshake is the largest early talent recruiting platform connecting employers, talent, and colleges and universities in one place and currently includes over 420,000 employers. Through Handshake, BW students indicate their career interests and preferences and the system personalizes relevant content to each student's account. This helps students easily find internships and jobs, upcoming events, career-related resources and more. Students can join Handshake as early as August 1 prior to their first-year.
