BW has partnerships with more than 80 districts and hundreds of schools. BW education students can benefit from 700+ hours of field and clinical experience.
Through field experiences, students are immersed in diverse school settings — urban, rural, suburban, parochial and private — to prepare them for their first teaching position.
In every county in Northeast Ohio, BW education graduates are providing critical leadership and guidance to school districts.

Program Accreditation and Approval

The BW Department of Education is accredited by the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation. Music Education (grades PK-12) is also accredited by the National Association of Schools of Music. All BW licensure and endorsement programs are approved by the Ohio Department of Higher Education.

Education graduates succeed

BW education graduates meet a rigorous set of standards on their way to licensure eligibility. As a result, they meet and most often exceed requirements set by the State of Ohio. 94% of BW students passed the Ohio Teacher License Exams (according to latest available data).
