Favorite quote: "Yo, Adrian!" -Rocky

Biggest mistake as a first-year student? What did you learn? I feel like the biggest mistake I had was not talking to enough people for advice. There are experts all over campus willing to help with anything, including career advice, resume building, etc. I learned that talking to people is important for potentially building a better career as well as simply building more friendships.

How did you choose your major? Watching the news and reading articles online and in the newspaper inspired my desire to learn more about politics in the United States and abroad. I do not know what I want to do with my major yet, but I love learning about political systems and why groups of people do the things they do.

What has been your best experience at BW? That's a difficult one. I would probably say after getting out of orientation and realizing that college is much less scary than it was made out to be. And therefore I was able to be excited and enjoy my time at BW.

Favorite spot on campus? My favorite spot on campus is probably my room actually. I am able to see trees and look at the sunrise each morning. Plus, it's a very nice combination of quiet peace and fun.

What is the one thing you want the incoming students to know as they get ready for their summer orientation experience? I want incoming students to know about the fact that there are endless opportunities for involvement, but they have to make the effort.

What is one major piece of advice you would give new incoming students to help them succeed in their first year at BW? Talking to people is the quickest and best way to develop yourself and find good advice. BW is extremely friendly, take advantage of that.
