We do not fax transcripts.
All financial obligations to Baldwin Wallace University must be satisfied before a transcript can be released.

- Current Students
-
Current students, if you are ordering transcripts for a scholarship, BW study abroad office or undergraduate research, please do not use the online ordering system. Please email requests to webregis@bw.edu.
Otherwise, you may order your transcript from My Records.
From My Records, click on the Academic Profile menu item and select Ordering of Transcripts. The Parchment site will provide instructions for placing your order, including delivery options and fees. Your My Records transcript request is securely linked to the Parchment site. Parchment is the vendor Baldwin Wallace University contracts with to provide transcripts through an encrypted and secure service.
If you need your transcript quickly, it is highly recommended that you choose the PDF option, as it can take up to 10 business days from the day your order is completed for you to receive a transcript sent via 1st class mail. PDF transcripts are official transcripts. However, please be aware that when sending a PDF transcript to yourself, it cannot then be forwarded to a different email address. Forwarding a PDF transcript makes it unofficial. If your transcript is going to a third party, you should have it sent directly to their email address. This ensures that the transcript will still be considered an official University document.

- Frequently Asked Questions
-
Q: What is an "Official" Transcript?
A: All transcripts we produce in response to a student’s request are “Official” as far as we are concerned. They all are on special security paper with the Registrar’s signature, the date printed and the school seal. Any transcript we provide to the student will also indicate “ISSUED TO STUDENT”. Some agencies do not consider this official. Be sure to check with the agency requesting the transcript to verify what they consider to be official.
Q: Can I get an unofficial transcript for my records?
A: Current students can download an unofficial transcript from their Student Planning Tool in My Records. Once in your Student Planning account, scroll to the navigation menu on the left, click Academics, and choose Unofficial Transcript from the Student Planning dropdown menu. Unofficial transcripts are not available for students or alumni that do not have access to My Records.
Q: Can you guarantee when I will get my transcript?
A: All orders take a up to three business days to process (slower during peak periods). For mail orders, please allow up to 10 business days to receive your transcript.
Q: Will you let me know if there is a problem in processing my request?
A: If you ordered your transcript online, you will receive notification by e-mail if there are any problems with your order.
Q: What if my transcript has a "financial hold" on it?
A: If your transcript has a financial hold, then transcripts will not be issued until the financial hold is removed. The financial hold resolution roadmap can help you resolve your outstanding student balance so your transcripts can be issued.
Q: Will you issue my transcripts then bill me?
A: The transcript payment must accompany the transcript request. When the payment is received, the transcript will be processed assuming no financial hold is on your BW account.
Q: Can I have my transcript faxed to myself or someone else?
A: No. We do not fax transcripts.
Q: If I apply to a new BW program through the Office of Admissions, do I need to order my prior BW transcript to be sent to BW Admissions?
A: No. If the application indicates that previous transcripts need to be sent to BW Undergraduate or BW Graduate Admissions, then you do not need to request your BW transcripts to be sent there. The Office of Admissions has access to view all work previously completed at BW.
