The countdown begins. With only weeks until Commencement, the excitement is building for both you and your student. Hard work and persistence have paid off. Now it 's time to celebrate with family, friends, classmates and the BW community.

Though we 'll miss your student, we can 't help but be proud to have been part of his or her college experience. Don 't forget to stay in touch and be a Yellow Jacket for Life.

We're proud of our alumni–all 50,000. Accomplished and renowned, our alumni are CEOs, CFOs, scientists, politicians, Broadway actors and actresses, educators, theologians, attorneys and more spanning the globe. Though in a few weeks your student will graduate, he or she will always remain an important part of our BW community.

Access to Ongoing Career Resources

Over the course of your student's career, he or she may decide to pursue new career opportunities, attend graduate or professional school, change career fields, relocate or face the unexpected circumstance of being laid off.

Career services assists alumni through:

  • One-on-one career advising appointments during academic breaks, including summer
  • Workshops geared to alumni
  • Annual Career & Internship Expo
  • Annual Graduate School Fair

Exciting Alumni Activities

Throughout the year, the BW alumni office hosts activities on and off campus. Alumni also enhance our thriving community through attendance at sports, Conservatory, lecture, art and theatre programs. 

Alumni also have a key role in our volunteer initiatives. Opportunities include:

  • Helping with prospective student recruitment
  • Being a career mentor to current students
  • Annual Fund
  • Joining the Alumni Council
  • Participating in an Affinity Group
  • Planning and attending local activities for a regional alumni chapter
