What makes BW distinctive for me? BW is a place where a neuroscience major, theatre performer and captain of a sports team could all be the same person. Our students are well-rounded, multi-talented and eager to be involved. BW does an incredible job of fostering an environment where students can blend their passions for the arts and sciences.

What do I love most about Berea and Cleveland? I love that the Berea area has all the college staples within one mile of campus: Chipotle, Panera, and of course, Starbucks. Cleveland is such a magical place, but I have to admit my favorite thing about this city is that it’s home to the Cleveland Indians and Cleveland Cavaliers!

What is the most interesting place I have visited? The Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai, Thailand – a no-ride elephant sanctuary that rescues and rehabilitates distressed elephants. It was hands-down the most amazing experience I’ve ever had!

What is my favorite movie? “Home Alone.” I watch it at least 1-2 times a month.

If I could meet any historical figure, who would it be and why? Alexander Hamilton. I’ve always been fascinated with the Founding Fathers, but the musical “Hamilton” has me even more interested in him, specifically!
