What makes BW distinctive for me? As soon as you step on campus, you will notice the strong sense of community at BW. The people here truly care for and support each other and are rooting for you to succeed!

What do I love most about Berea and Cleveland? I love that BW’s location gives students access to both a small town and the big city – there are so many opportunities to explore!

What is the most interesting place I have visited? Tuscany for sure. The Italian culture is so different from that of anywhere I have visited in the United States. It was so fun experiencing something so different than what I am used to!

If I could meet any historical figure, who would it be and why? Princess Diana – I admire her openness regarding mental health struggles and her commitment to the community (and she’s a fashion icon)!

My message to prospective students thinking about the value of college and BW: Attending college is an invaluable experience – it’s a chance to explore your passions and maybe even discover new ones. Take advantage of all that college has to offer and keep an open mind when it comes to new opportunities. These years are such an exciting time in your life, enjoy them!
