Important Dates & Deadlines

Fall 2026 Start

August 1, 2025

Students may begin their application for fall 2026 admission to BW.

October 1, 2025

Students may begin filing their FAFSA application for financial aid.

Pittsburgh Unified Audition participants (acting and music theatre only) are encouraged to submit their application for admission by this date.

November 1, 2025

First-year priority application deadline that gives students additional consideration for admission and scholarships.

Deadline to participate in November auditions for the Conservatory of Performing Arts (including the acting BFA program). Students need to have submitted their audition fee by this date, though auditions are on a first-come basis and many audition dates fill well in advance.

December 1, 2025

Deadline for eligible fall 2026 students to have visited campus and qualify for the BW Visit Grant.

December 11, 2025

Fall Conservatory (includes acting BFA) audition decisions are released. Students who have completed their application and audition will begin receiving admission decisions by email.

December 15, 2025

Financial aid offers to students admitted to liberal arts majors who have filed a FAFSA will begin being released.

January 15, 2026

Conservatory of Performing Arts (including the acting BFA program) application and audition fee deadline to audition in January or February 2026. Audition slots assigned on a first-come basis and many audition dates fill well in advance. Audition slots are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis, and many audition dates fill up well in advance.

MTCA participants (music theatre) are asked to submit their applications by this date.

March 5, 2026

Spring Conservatory of Performing Arts (includes acting BFA) audition decisions are released. Students who have completed their application and audition will begin receiving admission decisions by email. Conservatory students who have filed the FAFSA will begin receiving their financial aid packages within approximately two weeks.

May 1, 2026

Priority deposit deadline to enroll at BW for fall 2026. Please note: Deposits are refundable until the priority deposit deadline but not thereafter.

July 1, 2026

Student deadline to submit final high school transcript if attending BW for fall 2026.

August 1, 2026

Transfer application deadline for August orientation session.

August 24, 2026

The start of classes. First-year application and transfer application deadline for fall 2026 enrollment.
