Baldwin Wallace's accredited one-year Master of Accountancy program is a career catalyst, preparing students to earn CPA designation and outstanding opportunities in the workplace.
Its success is lauded by graduates who have benefited from its rigor, faculty mentoring, networking and capstone courses embedded with the industry-leading Becker CPA Review Course materials.
Successful grads of the program are prepared to sit for the CPA exam, where passage of all four sections can often lead to lifetime job security.
Hayden Kissoon '25, MAcc '26, of Valley City, Ohio, knows the jubilation of passing all four sections of the CPA exam. He completed his undergraduate degree in accounting and economics in May 2025 before enrolling in the Master of Accountancy, where he completed all four CPA exam sections during the one-year program. Now he is ready for career success.
"My experiences with both BW's undergraduate accounting program and Master of Accountancy program were amazing," said Kissoon.
"The Master of Accountancy program focuses on completing all four CPA exams, with one exam being the focus every eight weeks. This aligned with my goal of obtaining my CPA license.
"BW has always supported my career goals," he added. "It was through BW's accounting fairs that I got both of my internships. Plus, my professors were always available whenever I needed academic help or advice."

Like Kissoon, Gwen Horvath '26 followed a path from undergraduate to graduate student. The Strongsville, Ohio, resident began as a marketing major before switching to accounting.
"In my first semester, professor Dan Schrag and an EY partner did a presentation in my 'Intro. to Business' class about the accounting major and profession. I was very intrigued by what they said," explained Horvath.
"Real-world experience is important to me, so I participated in two accounting internships with EY, one as an audit intern and the other as a professional practice intern. The latter is a two-year internship until my full-time start date at EY in 2027," she noted.
Having earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in May 2026, Horvath began her master of accountancy studies in August of this year.
"Enrolling in the program seemed like the next right step. It is set up to help students pass the CPA exam, a major goal of mine. I also like being familiar with the faculty, as well as some of my peers," she emphasized.
She went on to say that the program is accredited and offers many resources, including an accounting advisory board, whose members are available for one-on-one mentoring.
The Master of Accountancy prepares students for a variety of careers, including public accounting, government, nonprofit, industry or business owner. Participants can choose full-time or part-time enrollment.
