BW welcomes Rob Drapcho as vice president for enrollment management

Rob Drapcho has been named vice president for enrollment management at Baldwin Wallace University. He joined the campus community on June 22.

Rob Drapcho

Drapcho brings to the position demonstrated and innovative success in higher education, as well as familiarity with BW. From 2008-2012, he served as the assistant director of admission.

As vice president for enrollment management, Drapcho will shape and execute BW's enrollment vision and strategy for undergraduate and graduate students by providing leadership to the areas of student recruitment, admissions, financial aid and enrollment. He will also serve as a member of the BW Senior Leadership Team.

Strong record of higher education success

Drapcho brings to the vice president role a strong background in higher education, data-driven decision-making and digital innovation. Prior to joining BW, he served as director of enrollment management at Bowling Green State University's (BGSU) Firelands campus in Huron, Ohio, for seven years.

While there, he developed the campus's first comprehensive enrollment plan, led a successful brand overhaul and delivered consecutive years of the largest incoming classes in the campus's history.

In addition to BGSU, Drapcho has held senior enrollment roles at Ohio University and Cleveland State University.

Drapcho is an alumnus of Ohio University and Bowling Green State University, where he earned Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts degrees in English language and literature.

Strategic leader ready to innovate

"Rob joins us with an impressive track record in strategic enrollment management. He brings to BW demonstrated success in developing and executing innovative enrollment strategies that yielded measurable results," said BW President Lee Fisher.

"He will provide strong leadership across Undergraduate Admission, Graduate Admission, Conservatory of Performing Arts Admission, Enrollment Operations, and Financial Aid to ensure departmental goals are aligned with BW's overarching enrollment mission," Fisher went on to say.

"Rob's return to Berea, where he served on our admission staff early in his career, is not only a welcoming return of one of our own YJ4L, but it enables him to step into the V.P. role with important knowledge of our BW mission and community," noted Fisher.

"We are pleased to have Rob join us as we prepare our students to be Leader-Ready, Team-Ready, Career-Ready and Future-Ready," emphasized Fisher.

Ready to build on BW momentum

Drapcho is ready to help BW take the next step forward in welcoming the incoming class in August and preparing for future classes in the recruitment cycle.

"I'm grateful for the opportunity to return to the Baldwin Wallace community and eager to build on the momentum established under President Fisher's leadership," said Drapcho. "This University's commitment to our students serves as the foundation for everything we do, and I look forward to working alongside the team to deliver the next generation of BW graduates."
