Baldwin Wallace students create new works every day, but it's not every day when they premiere that work in New York City. Freshman acting major Noah Meaux and sophomore arts management major Daniel Ruffing will present "Secrets: A New Musical" as a musical in concert on December 22, 2018 at the acclaimed Feintstein's/54 Below, Broadway's Supper Club.

The musical follows high school senior Chris Hawkins as he tries to uncover the secret of his father's arrest when he was a little boy.

The evening will feature songs from the musical performed by BW graduates and current students, including Dan Hoy '18 and Reyna Moran '22. Hoy was also recently cast in the national tour of "Cats" by Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber.

New York City Dream Come True

This is a dream come true for Ruffing who says, "I am so, so, so excited to be debuting the show in NYC … Having these [songs] performed for the first time on a stage where literally all of my idols and inspirations have performed before is still incredible to me."

Meaux wrote the book and lyrics. Ruffing wrote the music while contributing additional lyrics.

The concert plays at Feinstein's/54 Below, 254 West 54th Street, on December 22, 2018. Tickets and more information are available at 54Below.com.
