What makes BW distinctive for me?
I used to walk past BW on my way home from high school and going to football games. It is really cool to me that I get to work here and am able to build meaningful and genuine relationships not only with students and families, but across departments. I am proud to be part of a university that has such a student-centered focus. The beautiful campus is a plus!
What do I love most about Berea and Cleveland?
I love walking through Coe Lake during every season and having some Frozen Yogurt from Igloo. I love the Cleveland Zoo, especially when they do the zoo lights and the lantern festivals. I also enjoy all the opportunities there are to learn about and enjoy art in the city.
What is the most interesting place I have visited?
Definitely Morro de São Paulo, Brazil.
My message to prospective students thinking about the value of college and BW:
Listen to your heart! College is not just a degree. It's an experience that shapes who you are and stays with you wherever life takes you.
