What makes BW distinctive for me? The supportive community. BW is a place that truly cares! Our faculty, staff, and students only have one other's best interests in mind. From a faculty member who helps place you in an awesome internship, to a staff member offering a supportive ear, to a roommate who becomes your life-long friend - BW becomes your family.

What do I love most about Berea and Cleveland? During my first visit to BW, my dad and I biked around Berea, and the city was one of the top reasons I chose to attend! It has beautiful small-town charm with opportunities to experience art and culture, nature, delicious local food, and even a little shopping! My favorite thing about Cleveland is that it's a destination for amazing national tours. You can see Broadway-quality shows in our backyard!

Where would I still like to visit that I haven't already? I'd love to explore every national park in the United States to experience the incredible beauty of this country.

What is my favorite movie? "The Princess Bride"

My message to prospective students thinking about the value of college and BW? Choosing a college is a big decision, and it's about so much more than the cost. It's about finding a place where you can grow, discover new passions, build lasting friendships, and feel like you truly belong. Take the time to explore your options. Visit campuses, sit in on classes, meet professors, attend events, and talk with current students about their experiences. Pay attention to how each place feels. The next four years will be filled with opportunities, challenges, and memories that will stay with you long after graduation. Find the place that excites you, supports you, and feels like a second home. At the end of the day, this is your journey, and only you can decide where it begins.

My message to prospective students thinking about the value of college and BW: College is a huge investment, the largest you will make at this stage in your life, so don't take this decision lightly. Finding somewhere you feel comfortable and that you feel is a home-away-from-home is so important. Visit, visit, visit. Sit in on classes, meet professors, attend social events and spend the night on campus. It is YOUR choice where you will spend the next four years of your life.
