Admission to the Master of Public Health program is selective. The admission committee carefully reviews the academic preparation and achievements of each candidate for admission. Applicants who earned their degree in the United States must have attended a regionally accredited college or university. Competitive candidates for admission will have a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale in all college and graduate work.

Candidates with degrees earned from foreign institutions must have their academic transcripts translated and verified by a NACES organization as part of the application process.

The MPH program welcomes students with degrees in any area, however students must have completed specific prerequisite coursework to enroll in the program.

Prerequisite Courses

Prerequisite courses include a course in college level math or statistics, a course in human biology, and a course in sociology or psychology. Prerequisite courses must have been completed with a minimum grade of "B" and taken from a regionally accredited college or university.
