Master of Public Health – Admission
Admission to the Master of Public Health program is selective. The admission committee carefully reviews the academic preparation and achievements of each candidate for admission. Applicants to the MPH program must have earned a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university. Competitive candidates for admission will have a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale in all college and graduate work. The MPH program welcomes students with degrees in any area, however students must have completed specific prerequisite coursework to enroll in the program.
Prerequisite courses include a course in college level math or statistics, a course in human biology, and a course in sociology or psychology. Prerequisite courses must have been completed with a minimum grade of "B" and taken from a regionally accredited college or university.
