Benefits of the School Partnership Program

Baldwin Wallace is dedicated to partnering with school districts to ensure their educators are provided high-quality educational opportunities to enhance their skills and competencies, with an individualized, student-focused experience to support their learning. If you are interested in learning more about how your district can participate in our school partnerships program, please contact Liana Wiemels at lwiemels@bw.edu.

We currently offer a multi-tiered approach to school partnerships.

Premier Partnerships

Schools that wish to engage with Baldwin Wallace at the premier level collaborate with us so that we can best understand the educational needs of their educators and communicate the appropriate programming opportunities that the University has to offer. In return, educators in these districts receive a 10% discount on BW standard tuition rates for eligible MAEd programs.

Eligible MAEd Programs:

  • MAEd in Literacy
  • MAEd in Mild to Moderate
  • MAEd in Leadership in Technology
  • MAEd in School Leadership
  • Superintendent License

Additionally, educators benefit from a simplified application process:

  • BW will accept transcripts directly from your board office. Once you apply for admission, the BW admission office will contact your school district for copies of your transcripts.
  • As a school partnership teacher, you only need one recommendation. Normally MAEd programs require two recommendations.

These benefits are available to Ohio-licensed teachers, substitute teachers and administrators working full-time in a partner school district.
