The Yellow Jackets (34-10) will be facing the Messiah (Pa.) University Falcons. The baseball team comes into the contest after winning three consecutive games in the Decatur NCAA Division III Tournament Regional.

The matchup is set to be the Brown and Gold's first in the Division III Super Regionals since 2023, when BW made a historic title run to the Division III College World Series. The team is under the direction of head coach Brian Harrison.

The Super Finals format is a best-of-three, with the winner needing to win two games before losing two. There will be one game played on Friday and another on Saturday, before a game three that would be needed if both teams split the first two games.

The first pitch on Friday is scheduled for noon ET, while the first game Saturday is scheduled for 11 a.m. with a second game, if necessary, at 3 p.m.

BW Athletics will cover the cost of BW student tickets with the BW Student Hometown Ticket Season Pass at the gate. BW students can access their season pass in the Hometown Fan App. All other guests can purchase tickets on the Hometown website.

Celebratory Commencement for Seniors

On Tuesday, May 12, BW President Lee Fisher had the honor of awarding degrees to 12 Yellow Jacket baseball seniors during a special commencement ceremony held for them and their families in the Knowlton Center. Due to the team qualifying for the Decatur tournament, seniors were unable to participate in BW's Commencement on May 9. The joyous event lauded the students not only as athletes but as proud graduates of Baldwin Wallace University.
