BW's number one ranking by RegisteredNursing.org is a testament to exceptional preparation for a high-demand career path.
RegisteredNursing.org has praised Baldwin Wallace University's nursing program as number one in Ohio in its 10th annual rankings.
In honoring BW as the best in the state, the site notes that BW's Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program consistently earns "exceptional NCLEX-RN pass rates," while "students benefit from early clinical rotations beginning in their sophomore year," offering "hands-on learning at top Northeast Ohio healthcare facilities."
The comprehensive 2026 rankings also applaud BW for emphasizing "leadership and critical thinking skills" and for "preparing graduates for diverse nursing roles."
In introducing the rankings, RegisteredNursing.org notes the critical need for nurses as "much of the nation is grappling with a prolonged nursing shortage expected to continue for years. Ohio, in particular, is projected to see a 17% increase in nursing positions over the next decade."
The site also noted that nursing offers significant growth in "job security and competitive salaries."
In notifying BW of the honor, RegisteredNursing.org said, "This distinction is more than just a ranking. It reflects the daily work your faculty, staff and students put into creating a strong academic experience, one that prepares graduates to step into nursing careers with confidence."
