BW mathematics faculty in the spotlight for creative approach to learning math

Students explored and tested game-winning strategies and learned math along the way.

As part of its “Growing STEM” initiative, Cleveland’s NBC affiliate, WKYC-TV, featured the creative way Baldwin Wallace University’s mathematics professors are “changing the narrative” and bringing out the joy in math.

BW mathematics professors Dr. Catherine Lane and Dr. Melissa Dennison welcomed Channel 3 to a summer “Game Theory Camp” for high schoolers.

The camp is just one of the year-round offerings from BW’s Division of Community Learning.
