BW Students Teach 1000s of Musicians of All Ages

The Baldwin Wallace Community Arts School offers music and arts education to Northeast Ohioans of all skill levels and ages – from infant to retiree.

The school's diverse multi-disciplinary program options enable everyone – from the beginner to the aspiring professional – to enrich their lives through lifelong engagement with the arts. Students become part of an inspirational arts community that celebrates, explores and connects individual ability with pathways for artistic growth.

In 2018-2019, more than 4000 households throughout Northeast Ohio participated in Community Arts School programs:

World-Class Facilities and Faculty

The Community Arts School is housed in the acclaimed BW Conservatory of Performing Arts. In addition, a satellite location boasts 3 professional dance studios, a visual art studio and theatre classroom. Students study in the Conservatory’s state-of-the-art facilities, learn from top-ranking artist professionals and are a valued part of this vibrant arts community.

    Infants and young children learn to recognize musical phrases and develop body coordination through Dalcroze Eurhythmics and Music Play, a movement and music experience for children and their caregivers.

    Students ages 2-21 participate in an array of dance classes including Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Hip-Hop, Music Theatre and Tap. In addition, students can audition for pre-professional dance company.
