Day of Excellence

All are welcome to join in BW's celebration of student achievement. The Ovation Day of Excellence features the work of more than 300 students who will present 150 projects in the form of posters, live presentations and performances, and displays.

SCHEDULE

9 a.m.
Lauria STEM Research Competition
Telfer Hall, Room 330
Students will present their proposals in hopes of winning a $5,000 summer research fellowship, generously funded by Tony and Pat Lauria. 

11 a.m.
Opening Ceremony
Knowlton Center Lobby
Featuring President-designate Lee Fisher.

11:30 a.m.–3 p.m.
Project Presentations
Knowlton Center and Center for Innovation and Growth (CIG)
Posters, oral presentations, performances and more!

Noon–2 p.m.
Lunch
Due to expected inclement weather, lunch will be served in rooms 112 and 113 of the Center for Innovation and Growth (CIG).
FREE for students, faculty and staff.

12:30–2 p.m.
Ovation Soapbox
Center for Innovation and Growth (CIG) Lobby
Students articulate their opinions on a variety of topics.

Noon–3 p.m.
PhotoVoice Display
Center for Innovation and Growth (CIG) Lobby
First-year BW students capture their lived experiences through photography and reflective personal narrative.

3–4:30 p.m.
Senior Engineering Capstone Presentations
Telfer Hall, Surrarrer Auditorium
Senior engineering students present their year-long capstone project.

4:10–5:10 p.m.
Senior Environmental Science Capstone Presentations
Telfer Hall, Room 330
Senior environmental science students present their year-long capstone project.
