The Jacket Business Network is an initiative created by BW alumni who want to bring together members of the Baldwin Wallace business community.
This series welcomes BW alumni and friends who are passionate about building relationships, sharing expertise, and expanding their professional networks.

ABOUT NIC BARLAGE
Nic Barlage is Chief Executive Officer of Rock Entertainment Group (REG), part of Cavaliers Chairman Dan Gilbert’s Rock Family of Companies. He oversees a portfolio that includes the Cleveland Cavaliers, Cleveland Monsters, Cleveland Charge, Cleveland’s WNBA 2028 expansion team, Rock Entertainment Sports Network, the Rocket Classic, and major venues including Rocket Arena and Cleveland Clinic Courts.
Since becoming CEO in 2021, Barlage has led REG’s growth into a leading sports and entertainment organization, earning multiple Sports Business Journal “Best Places to Work in Sports” honors while driving significant community investment and volunteer impact across Northeast Ohio.
He also spearheads transformative development projects, including the Cleveland Clinic Global Peak Performance Center, the Rock Block entertainment district, and the revitalization of Cleveland Public Hall. In addition, he helps guide Bedrock’s strategic vision to support Cleveland’s continued urban growth.
Before REG, Barlage held senior leadership positions with the Phoenix Suns, Charlotte Bobcats, and Cavaliers. He is a graduate of Saint John’s University and serves on several boards, including Cosm, the Greater Cleveland Sports Commission, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, and the Boys & Girls Club of Northeast Ohio.
