2025 Northeast Ohio Democracy & Dialogue Summit
The Democracy & Dialogue Summit invites students, staff, and community members to come together for a powerful day of reflection, action, and connection around one central question: What does it mean to show up for democracy?
The day will include:
- A keynote Spark Talk from civic leaders exploring the role of dialogue in creating change
- Interactive tools like Slido to share intentions and set the tone
- Engaging breakout sessions:
- Power Mapping Jam with Marsita Ferguson, director, BW Brain Center for Community Engagement
- Relational Organizing Lab with Alexis Crosby, Campus Vote Project
- Peer-led dialogue circles to practice empathy, understanding and civic values across differences
- A closing reflection designed to inspire purpose-driven action
Free lunch will be provided from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. to accommodate participants' schedules.
