International Film Series and Albertine Cinémathèque Festival of New French & Francophone Cinema

Now in its 19th year, the BW International Film Series celebrates cultures and diversity on the BW campus by bringing inspiring and critically important works of international cinema to BW and the Northeast Ohio community. This year's global kaleidoscope of films — presented in French, German, Spanish, Arabic, Italian, Chinese, Korean, Lingala and Urdu — shed light on the many social and cultural transformations in the world today.

Please join us for a selection of 12 international films with English subtitles as Baldwin Wallace University hosts the 2024 BW International Film Series and Albertine Cinémathèque Festival of New French & Francophone Cinema over two weekends: Friday-Sunday, February 16-18 and Friday-Sunday, February 23-25.

Only 40 universities in the U.S. were chosen to receive the grant from the FACE (French-American Cultural Exchange) Foundation to hold the Albertine Cinémathèque Festival on its campus this year. The Baldwin Wallace French and Francophone Studies program is honored to be one of the grantees and the only university selected in the state of Ohio.

All films are free and open to the public and will be shown in Marting Hall, Room 114.
