Double Reed Day Concert

Join us for the Grand Finale Concert of the Conservatory of Music’s first Double Reed Day, a day of master classes for high school and college oboe and bassoon students.

This year’s guest artists, Pedro Diaz (English horn with The Metropolitan Opera Orchestra) and George Sakakeeny (Bassoon Professor at the Eastman School of Music), are renowned for their artistry and teaching expertise.

BW Conservatory faculty Johanna Cox Pennington and Thomas English will join them for a day of master classes that will culminate in a Grand Finale concert including all guest artists, faculty and Double Reed participants.

The concert is free and open to the public.
