Walking with Immigrants

In celebration of National Hispanic and Latine Heritage Month, the Baldwin Wallace Center for Inclusion presents Saul Flores “Walking with Immigrants.” In this keynote, Saul (pronounced sah-ool) speaks about how as a North Carolina State University senior, he took the “Walk” in the summer of 2010.

In three months, he walked 5,328 miles through 10 countries and nine border crossings to document the grueling and dangerous journey of immigrants to the United States and to raise money for an elementary school in Atencingo, Mexico.

Take the opportunity to relive The Walk of the Immigrants along with Saul and create a deeper understanding of the struggles, hardships, joy and hope that immigrants experience on their journey.

Event is free and open to the public.
Entrance tickets required.
