Few topics in the world are as central or fundamental to understanding as mathematics. Mathematical logic underpins every scientific pursuit. Mathematical patterns flow through nature, music and art. Mathematical rhythms form the basis of poetry and spoken language. Because of that mathematics is absolutely essential to living an informed and productive life. My goal as a teacher is to help expose students to the beauty and importance of mathematics and how it informs and impacts their everyday life.
"Mathematics knows no races or geographic boundaries; for mathematics, the cultural world is one country." -David Hilbert
