Chris Seminatore

Chris Seminatore is an assistant professor of nursing at Baldwin Wallace University. He also serves as the Nursing Skills Lab coordinator for the school of nursing. His areas of expertise include emergency medicine, critical care, education and process improvement.

Prior to joining BW, Seminatore served as a nurse manager of an emergency department. In this role, he facilitated positive patient outcomes and maintained compliance. He also previously served as an emergency room nurse, educator, quality specialist and was the chair of a nurse-led quality and research council for a healthcare system. In these roles he played an integral part in the development of policies and procedures to improve patient outcomes.

Seminatore also managed an inpatient medicine unit and has served as a documentation integrity specialist where he worked with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure accuracy in the electronic medical record. His vast teaching experience includes serving as an adjunct faculty member in paramedic and nursing programs. In 2018, Seminatore was named Ohio March of Dimes Nurse of the Year in the Quality & Risk Management Infection Control category.
