Debbie Potter is an adjunct nursing faculty member at Baldwin Wallace University. She started as a music therapist, worked her way up to leadership, and then began her nursing career in an orthopedic/neuro unit. Potter then went on to cardiac stepdown and critical care. She has been the clinical educator for the intensive care units at University Hospitals downtown in their main campus while teaching clinicals and fell in love with teaching as she precepted students and staff. She brought LPNs into the critical care unit and has submitted an abstract for the National Teaching Institute (NTI) conference in 2024. She will be teaching the fundamentals clinical at BW.
