Amy O'Brien

Amy O'Brien, MA, CCC-SLP, is an associate professor in the communication sciences and disorders program. She provides clinical education to undergraduate and graduate students through the Baldwin Wallace Speech Clinic.

She is dedicated to preparing future speech-language pathologists through high-quality clinical education that fosters critical thinking, clinical reasoning, confidence and professional independence.

Her clinical interests include augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), speech sound disorders, literacy, autism, early intervention, and language development and disorders across the lifespan.

Before joining the faculty at Baldwin Wallace, she worked as a speech-language pathologist in a variety of settings, including pediatric outpatient, home health and the schools. She is licensed by the Ohio Board of Speech/Language Pathology.
