Dr. Kathy Meyers has 27 years of experience as a researcher, clinical nurse specialist and nursing educator. Her clinical experiences include emergency department/trauma, intensive care unit, cardiac catheterization lab, palliative care and hospice. Academic teaching experience includes A.D.N., B.S.N., M.N. and D.N.P. level nursing students. Her research is focused on palliative care, end of life, advance care planning and religiosity.

She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International, a Nurses Honor Society membership ambassador for Case Western Reserve University and Region 10 Planning Committee research abstract review chair. She is also a ELNEC Train-the-Trainer for the Hospice and Palliative Nurses Association.
