John Hemphill was most recently seen as Harold in the Japanese production of "The Full Monty."
He made his Broadway debut portraying Sam in the Broadway production of "Mamma Mia!," later returning in the role of Bill. Other Broadway credits include the original companies of "Redwood" with Idina Menzel, and Andrew Lloyd Webber's "School of Rock."
Hemphill was on the national tour of "Dear Evan Hansen," playing the role of Larry Murphy, "The Curious Incident of The Dog In The Night-Time" as Mr. Shears and in "Mamma Mia!" as Sam Carmichael. In addition, he was a cast member in Lincoln Center's production of "Admissions," starring Jessica Hecht.
His film and TV credits include Paramount Pictures' "Zodiac," directed by the Academy Award-nominated David Fincher, and roles on "The Savant," "Law & Order SVU," "Billions," "Happyish," "Boardwalk Empire," "Castle," "Grey's Anatomy," "Monk," "Las Vegas," "Commander In Chief," "The Black List," "Mr. Robot," "Big Love," "House of Cards" and "Show Me A Hero."
