Dr. Linda Chase is a professor of accounting and teaches principles of accounting, intermediate accounting, principles of fraud examination and advanced accounting. Chase is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the state of Ohio and a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE).
She has worked for both private industry and public accounting firms prior to joining BW as a full-time professor. She has extensive experience working with financial statement preparation and consolidation. Her last position involved helping with the computer transfer of Eaton’s financial data into their new Oracle computer system. She designed many of the financial reports that are used globally and trained Eaton employees on designing their own Oracle financial reports.
Chase has been a regular presenter for the last 17 years to various organizations on ethics and CPA exam readiness, often qualifying as continuing education credits for CPA licensure and CFE credential.
