First Year Student Admission

Upcoming Admission Events

Schedule Your Personal BW Visit

You'll be strolling through a beautiful suburban campus, totally unaware that Cleveland is a mere 20 minutes way. You’ll feel the spirit of the college all around you, as you take a personalized, guided tour of the campus. You'll find it extremely difficult not to ask for an application when you leave.

Students and families are invited to visit campus Monday-Friday year round.

Schedule Your Visit >>

When visiting campus you will have an opportunity to:

  • Meet with an admission counselor (approximately 45 minutes)
  • Tour the campus with a current student ( approximately 75 minutes)
  • A portion of the tour is a driving tour, but the bulk of it will be walking; make sure you wear comfortable shoes!

Monday through Friday seniors will have an opportunity to (September through April)*:

  • Eat lunch in one of our dining halls (available Monday through Friday when classes are in session)
  • Attend a class
  • Meet with a financial aid counselor
  • Meet with a coach
  • Meet with a professor
  • *Stay overnight on campus (available Sunday-Thursday in October and November with a minimum notice of two weeks). Students wishing to stay overnight on campus must have completed an application for admission. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate overnight requests for music theatre students until a music theatre student has been admitted to the program.

Group Visits

Groups of prospective high school students are welcome to visit Baldwin Wallace. A group visit is designed for high school groups of 10 or more students and are limited to 45 students. We require one chaperone for every ten students and the students must be accompanied by a chaperone at all times. These visits are available on a first-come first-served basis on select Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays during the academic year (September-April). Please schedule your group visit at least two weeks in advance. Visits include a 60 minute campus tour & 30 minute information session. Please note that your students will tour as one group. Students will see academic buildings, the recreation center and the student union/dining hall. We do not show residence halls on group visits, but we do encourage students interested in seeing residence halls to come back to campus for an individual visit. We are unable to provide meals or transportation for your group visit, but would be happy to provide a space for students to eat packed lunches.
