Favorite quote: "Today, why don't you love a little deeper, laugh a little louder, and hug your loved ones a little tighter, because tomorrow is not promised to anyone."

Biggest mistake as a first-year student? What did you learn? My biggest mistake as a first-year student would have to be not getting involved in activities on campus and focusing on just my academics. After my sophomore year, I learned how important it was to myself, my campus, and my graduate school experience that I get involved with extra-curricular activities. One thing I suggest to first-year students: Get involved!

How did you choose your major? I came into college thinking I knew exactly what I wanted to do. Sometimes people do, but sometimes being exposed to different professors, students and materials alters your reality. I came in knowing I wanted to be a doctor or someone somewhere in the medical field. I later then realized that my original major did not fit me well and I went with something that fit my interests, limited my stress and made me enjoy my academics!

What has been your best experience at BW? My best experience at Baldwin Wallace so far has been sorority recruitment. The ability to meet girls like me has been tremendous, and I do not know where I would be without my sisters and their support!

Favorite spot on campus? My favorite spot on campus is North Quad when it is warm! It is so open and relaxing to just hang with friends or pull out a book. If it is not warm, I highly suggest the Cyber Café. It is full of students engaging in homework, games and socialization. The Cyber, in my opinion, is the best time!

Best piece of advice given to you? My family told me to give BW a try, and if it does not work out by the end of the year, then it was not meant to be. Here I am two years later and calling it my forever home!

One thing you want the incoming students to know as they get ready for their summer orientation experience? Make it what it is, have a great time and really put yourself out there. You will be interacting with your peers for the next four years and it could become the best four years of your life!
