Favorite quote: "All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them." -Walt Disney

Biggest mistake as a first-year student? What did you learn? My biggest mistake as a first-year student was trying to do everything on my own. After taking on too many activities and responsibilities, and being consistently stressed out, I learned that it’s okay to reach out and ask for help sometimes.

How did you choose your major? Music has always been a huge part of my life, but when it came time to choose a major, I couldn’t see myself playing professionally. By adding the business and management aspects, I could still pursue my passion, but in a new way!

What has been your best experience at BW? The opportunities that BW has provided me have given me tons of memorable experiences! From serving as the sophomore class president and planning homecoming to participating in the BW Dance Marathon to fight against pediatric AIDS, there are so many fun experiences to remember!

Favorite spot on campus? LB's Café in the Center for Innovation & Growth. It's a great place to meet people, hang out and study. (Plus, they have Starbucks coffee!)

Best piece of advice given to you? It’s okay to take a break and relax sometimes! Although college is a time to try new things and take advantage of all of the new opportunities, it’s also super important to take time for yourself and not overdo it.

One thing you want the incoming students to know as they get ready for their summer orientation experience? Don’t be afraid to let loose and step outside of your comfort zone! Orientation is a new experience for everybody, but it’s an exiting time to meet new people and have fun.
