Kevin Kaschube and family outside Christian Brothers AutomotiveKevin Kaschube put his Baldwin Wallace MBA and his faith to work for his own small business, recently opening a franchise of Christian Brothers Automotive in Avon, Ohio.

Kaschube has been working on the development of the franchise, which operates on the  Biblical principle of "love thy neighbor as yourself," since 2014.

After working as a BMW technician and an electrical engineer for Arcelor Mittal Steel, Kaschube was determined to open his own company.

Developing the plan

In an interview with The Morning Journal, Kaschube attributed the development of his franchise to his graduate business education at Baldwin Wallace.

"I wrote my own business plan for an automotive repair shop. And that was kind of the genesis for Christian Brothers Automotive Avon," he explained.

Kaschube's franchise is the Houston-based company’s second location in the Cleveland area.
