School of Business Adds One-Year, Full-time MBA for Recent Grads

February 1, 2016

BW School of Business classroomThe Baldwin Wallace University School of Business is now accepting applications for a new, One-Year MBA program launching in May. The full-time business management graduate program is designed so that recent business school graduates can complete the required 40 credit hours in 12 months (three semesters) of daytime classes. The first group of students will be working toward a May 2017 graduation.

The initial cohort will include current BW seniors and 2015 BW business graduates, and the plan is to offer the program to business grads from other colleges and universities in the future.

Applicants aiming for the May 2016 start must fulfill all undergraduate degree requirements including the complete Business Core Curriculum by May 2016 with a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA. Applicants also must have completed a business related internship as an undergrad.

MBA Evolution Aims to Meet Student, Business Needs

“The BW School of Business continues to evolve program offerings based on the needs of students and the business community,” said John Lanigan, Dean of the BW School of Business.  “We already have a strong pool of highly motivated seniors and recent graduates who tell us they are seeking an expedited and more affordable path to business graduate degree and who see this One Year MBA program as aligned with those goals.”

As a cohort program, students will take the MBA curriculum together in a planned sequence. The deadline for completed applications is March 15, but because the cohort will be limited in size,  interested students are encouraged to apply as soon as possible. The application is linked online here.
