Those are just two of the perks that BW arts management & entrepreneurship major Bailey Ford ’20 enjoyed when she worked a year-long internship with Jennifer Ashley Tepper, Director of Programming at New York City’s "54 Below," and the author of "The Untold Stories of Broadway" book series.

High Praise in Acknowledgements

The BW freshman helped Tepper on the third volume in her series and earned high praise in the book’s acknowledgements which credit “the hard work and dedication of an indefatigable team of helpers, who transcribed, researched, co-interviewed, and gave invaluable insight as the book came together.”

About Ford, Tepper wrote, “Bailey Ford amazed me daily with her ambition, curiosity, intelligence, attention to detail, and pure love for our art form.”

“Opportunity of a Lifetime"

The author and her team interviewed more than 200 theatre professionals—actors, directors, producers, stagehands, designers, ushers, and others—to elicit their funniest and most compelling backstage experiences on The Great White Way to produce the book.

When Dress Circle Publishing released Volume 3 at a gala event in November, Ford was there to celebrate. Ford is pictured (right) with Tepper (left) at the event in New York.
