At the end of the regional Carlson Leadership Academy conference in Chicago, Baldwin Wallace student Nathan Cole '18 learned that he was selected as a Tragos Scholar to study abroad in Greece this summer.

Cole is fourth from the left in the photo of some of fellow brothers of Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity from across the country who were singled out for the honor.

TRAGOS QUEST

Cole will embark upon the ten-day Tragos Quest to Greece, where he and the other participants will be challenged both mentally and physically to apply the classical arts to their own lifestyles.

Cole said, "I am hoping to gain a greater sense of self and purpose" from the program, which will find influence in the ancient ideas of a sound mind and sound body and classical texts.

Just one of twenty brothers chosen for the program, Cole added, "I am eager to learn more about an organization which holds so much value to me with the beauty and culture of Greece as a background for this experience."

Cole is busy as a double major in International Affairs and Political Science, while maintaining his position as President of Sigma Phi Epsilon and working as a communications intern with the SigEp Headquarters Marketing & Communications team. Additionally, Cole is a BW Resident Assistant and a Student Ambassador.
