Director of Student Life Appointed to National Greek Life Committee

marc-westMarc West, director of Student Life and Involvement, Greek Life and Student Orientation at BW has been appointed to the National Panhellenic Council’s (NPC) Fraternity and Sorority Advisory Committee.

The NPC is comprised of seven Greek Life advisors from different university campuses committed to supporting Greek Life though the discussion of leadership opportunities, diversity and inclusion, risk management and social policies. The committee explored forward-thinking strategies and student leadership opportunities at the first annual meeting in December.

During his 12 years at BW, West has been deeply invested in student life and has elevated student engagement and philanthropy with his active involvement and enthusiasm. Greek Life at BW currently includes five Fraternities and Sororities, each supporting a variety of philanthropic events and service projects in the Greater Cleveland area.

West holds a Master of Education degree in Adult Learning and Development from Cleveland State University and a Bachelor of Arts from Wittenburg University. He now represents BW nationally as a member of this important committee for the next two years as he works closely alongside NPC’s Executive Committee.
