BW Career Advising Services Continue for Alumni

November 1, 2014

In a time when a person is projected to switch careers three to seven times, Baldwin Wallace University is providing support for alumni preparing for such change. The resources and services provided by Career Services at BW are available to alumni without charge throughout the year when classes are not in session.

“Our staff is available to provide career advising as well as assistance with job searches and in times of transition for our alumni,” says Carmen Castro-Rivera, director of Career Services. “It's part of being a Yellow Jacket for Life.

“While serving current students is our highest priority, university breaks are great times for alumni to meet with staff for one-on-one career advising appointments,” she adds.

Alumni also have access to Career Technology tools, including the Baldwin Wallace Career Network. The BWCN is a web-based platform that provides employers with the ability to post professional positions and internship opportunities for Baldwin Wallace University students and alumni to view and apply for online.

Through the BWCN, alumni can also publish their resumes to be viewed by employers and connect with career mentors for advice and support. Contact Career Services to inquire about access to the BWCN. BW also provides other opportunities for alumni career networking on an ongoing basis.
