Financial Hold Resolution Roadmap

- 2. Do you know the current status of your financial aid?

- Yes. Please move on to the next question.
- No. To access your financial aid (FA) information via the FA self-service portal, visit MyBW.
- 3. Have you accepted your Federal Direct student loans?

- Yes, the loans have been credited to my billing account. Please move on to the next question.
- No. You will need to complete two additional steps to accept your Federal Direct loan(s). Please visit bw.edu/financial-aid/loans/direct to help guide your next steps.
- 4. Has a parent applied for a PLUS loan?

- Yes, the loan has been credited to my billing account. Please move on the next question.
- Yes, but they were denied. Please complete the request for additional Federal Direct Unsubsidized loans by filling out and submitting form #4 on bw.edu/financial-aid/forms.
- No. Parent PLUS loans are a common way for families to help meet the remaining costs associated with going to college. Please visit bw.edu/financial-aid/loans/plus for more information on Federal PLUS loans.
- No. My parents do not want to apply for a PLUS loan. Please move to the next question.
- 5. Have you considered a Private Education loan?
