Teachers, principals, district administrators, school counselors, classroom teachers or other school personnel can attend this workshop to learn more about the Health and Opioid Prevention Education (HOPE) curriculum, integrating the HOPE lessons, developing a school plan for drug abuse prevention and using Start Talking! to connect with parents and the community.

The half-day workshop will overview:

  • the problem,
  • principles of effective health education,
  • preview lessons and
  • developing an implementation plan for HOPE Curriculum.
