Fall 2017 CIG Innovation Experience

Barnaby Bright, the husband/wife indie folk duo of Rebecca and Nathan Bliss, have taken an unconventional journey from their individual beginnings in classical music, opera and jazz. They have also taken an unconventional route to their career.

As they bring their music (and friend Alan Black, principal cellist for the Charlotte Symphony Orchestra) to the Gamble stage they will also bring their story of entrepreneurial musicians who forged their own way in the brave, new business landscape. That story includes social media, crowd-funding, collaboration and an open and creative view of the opportunities that came their way—a story of magic and madness leading to success.

Barnaby Bright will also perform in concert on October 18 at The Brothers Lounge.

With support from the Burton D. Morgan Foundation and Scott & Julie Mawaka.
